Currently, wildflower seed production in Florida falls far short of demand. Seeds for native restoration and large scale Florida highway beautification projects are often purchased from major seed producing states such as Texas.
A group of Florida wildflower producers, working in conjunction with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, the University of Florida’s Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences and the Florida Wildflower Foundation is developing strategies to increase Florida's native plant acreage and seed production to better meet the demand for native species.
This site provides a gateway to the Cooperative's products. Seed is available by the packet for small plantings as well as in bulk for major endeavors. Best yet, purchasing seed from the Cooperative supports the efforts of our state's growers, which in turn helps us improve the supply and quality of native seed. We all win!

The $15 donation you make when purchasing the State Wildflower license plate sponsors native wildflower research, planting and education throughout Florida. Click here to purchase the State Wildflower license tag and find out more about it.
